Wake Up Schools supporting Healthcare Workers (Viet Nam)

On Sunday 5 April, Wake Up Schools will be co-hosting a workshop in mindfulness practice for Healthcare Workers in Viet Nam.

The workshop is hosted with the Center for Healthcare Improvement Research and Oxford University Clinical Research Unit (OUCRU). Participating will be staff from the Hospital of Tropical Disease and Cho Ray Hospital. These two hospitals are at the front line in leading Viet Nam’s effort to contain and to treat COVID-19. Introducing the practice from Wake Up Schools are Orla O’Sullivan and Le Thi My Hang, who will also be supported by practitioners in Viet Nam.

Wake Up Schools recognises that supporting healthcare workers is a matter of urgency, and are very happy to have the opportunity to share the practice. A further workshop to support educators in Viet Nam is being planned.
