Teaching from the Heart: A Daylong for Educators in Washington, D.C.

October 28, 2017 @ 9:30 am - 4:30 pm

In this daylong for educators we will learn and practice tools for taking good care of ourselves, so that we can be truly present for those we teach, and bring the best of ourselves into the classroom. We will slow down and come home to our body and breath by practicing mindful sitting, walking and eating silently together, as well as deep relaxation, a mindfulness talk, and group discussion.
